Late. Dr. Suresh Angadi, Former MoS, Railways, Govt. of India, Former four-term Member of Parliament, Belagavi, and Founder Chairman, Suresh Angadi Education Foundation (SAEF) was a devout follower of Swami Vivekananda and his principles. His philosophy has been that education should not merely be gathering knowledge, rather it should be about developing the mind to broaden the horizon of thinking.
In 2008 he built “Suresh Angadi Education Foundation” on the pillars of Discipline, Dedication, and Determination with the intention to provide education to the person at the last mile so that even the needy have access to quality education. His aim was to provide quality education at an affordable cost, especially for rural students. He believed that the purpose of education is not just restricted to imparting academic knowledge but to inculcating among the student’s humanitarian values like wisdom, compassion, courage, humility, and integrity. In this regard, he always appealed to the students of SAEF to become fearless seekers of true knowledge in their quest for success. He always encouraged and motivated teachers so that they keep the flame of inquisitiveness alive among the students. His dream was to make Belagavi a top educational hub in this country by providing excellent educational facilities to students who come from various backgrounds. Lastly, he believed and lived upto the saying “WORK IS WORSHIP”. A proverb repeatedly reminds us that it is essential to take intent in what we do. Unless we follow our passion and do what we generally love to do, we will never be able to achieve success.
Suresh Angadi Education Foundation (SAEF), established in the year 2008, has grown as a reputed Educational Hub. SAEF comprises of "Angadi Institute of Technology & Management (AITM)" started in the year 2009, offers Under-Graduate courses in Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics and Automation and Post Graduate courses in Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Application (MCA) and M.Tech in Mechanical and Civil Engineering. AITM included Diploma courses in Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. "Angadi College of Commerce & Science (ACCS)", started in the year 2009, offers PUC [Science (Integrated), Commerce], B.Sc., B. Com and M.Com. Under the aegis of SAEF, "Angadi International School (AIS)" with CBSE curriculum was started in 2015. "Angadi School of Architecture (ASA)" was started in 2016 to cater the needs of the student community to pursue career in Architecture.
SAEF has grown in strength providing quality education to over 4000 students on its campus. Extracurricular activities adds the vibrancy on the campus. SAEF's flagship Institute a AITM is associated with an active training and placement department which train students in soft skill, aptitude, reasoning and personality development, so that they can make a mark in their careers. Reputed organizations are associated with the placement department undertaken by the institute. The faculty of SAEF have carried out research works in various field and published their research work in reputed International and National Conference and Journals. Several patents have been filed by faculty to protect their research work. Most of the faculties have been invited as a speaker and resource person by various organization and Universities to contribute their research knowledge among researchers and research scholars.
